More than 1,400 copies of "Effective Java" were sold at JavaOne!!

I"m writing this blog at JavaOne site, so I cannot type in Japanese. Today is the last day of JavaOne and Joshua"s signing lasted more than two hours. And he was asked to have another signing. He and I planned to have a lunch, but we did not have much time for it. So Joshua and I had a quick lunch and came back to the Moscone center where JavaOne is held.

Before going to the lunch, he asked a clerk of the book store about how many copies have been sold out here. The answer was "more than 1,400 copies" in four days!!! And 400 pieces of T-Shirt were prepared for the first 400 copies of the book: I got one T-Shirt!

Joshuaは、合計で５時間はサインをしていたので、1分間で2人にサインしたとすると、1時間で120名となり、600冊ぐらいは合計でサインしたのではないでしょうか。
